According to their website, Muvbox (moving box) is the next generation of mobile kiosks. The concept is pretty clever. Shipping containers are recycled and transformed into eco-friendly, solar-powered vending stations now trending around the world.
Its origins date back to 2009 in Montreal with the launch of Muvbox: Homard Des Îles, aka the Lobster Box. Active every year since, from May to mid-October, it’s a popular attraction in the Old Port for tourists, locals and people in suits. Outdoor eating and lunchtime lineups guaranteed.
The world inside Muvbox: Homard Des Îles revolves around the Lobster Roll ($10.95). Right from the get-go, those sweet and succulent chunks of fresh lobster are BOOM, in your face. They’re tossed with humble ingredients – mayo, celery, salt and pepper – that lift without distracting from the star.
